Our Story

C&K Knotty Marine Services was created from a shared vision to step away from the traditional corporate world and build something of our own—something rooted in accountability, independence, and pride in workmanship. Leaving behind the “security” of corporate employment was a deliberate choice to work for ourselves, stand behind our name, and provide clients with service they can truly trust.

Kevin Black – Maritime Operations

Kevin Black brings decades of real-world maritime experience to C&K Knotty Marine Services. Having grown up on the water, Kevin’s career has spanned commercial and recreational marine operations, vessel handling, towing, and marine project supervision. He holds a U.S. Coast Guard Master’s License with multiple endorsements and has operated in demanding marine environments where safety, precision, and sound judgment are critical.

Kevin’s extensive maritime background ensures every job is performed with professionalism, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety.

Christina “Tina” Black – Business & Legal Operations

Christina “Tina” Black brings a strong background in legal, administrative, and business management. After years in the corporate sector, Tina was instrumental in forming C&K Knotty Marine Services Inc., overseeing corporate structure, compliance, contracts, and day-to-day business operations.

Her experience provides the organizational foundation that allows the company to operate professionally, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
